Hometown: Osaka, Japan / Makiki, Hawaii

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Sports Science, Doshisha University (Kyoto, Japan); Accounting coursework, California State University – East Bay

Experience: Taka began his accounting career with HiAccounting in 2022 and has since earned his CPA license. He has experience working with clients across multiple industries and quickly advanced from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant I. Prior to accounting, he worked in the sports industry in Japan, where he educated high school and college athletes on nutrition, supplements, and athletic performance.

Primary Duties: Taka is responsible for providing monthly and annual bookkeeping, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and supporting clients with a variety of accounting and tax-related needs.

Fun Facts: Outside of work, Taka enjoys playing and watching sports, particularly baseball and football. He’s passionate about fitness and often spends his free time at the gym.
