As part of its dynamic growth, HiAccounting just hired two new accountants, Evans Martin and Tiana Fa’asua, and promoted Ellie Zhao to Senior Accountant.

“For the past two years HiAccounting has been named one of the fastest 50 businesses in the state, and we intend to continue on the fast track” said Matt Delaney, President of both HiAccounting and The Hawaii Group.

Evans Martin joins to the team to serve some of HiAccounting’s more complicated clients. She has a BA in Economics and History from the University of Virginia. Martin brings several years of experience as Director of Business Operations for a restaurant group in Washington, DC.

Tiana Fa’asua, a recent graduate from UH Manoa with a Bachelors of Business Administration, hails from California. Fa’asua brings 4 years of experience in accounting. At the end of May Fa’asua got married, graduated and started work at HiAccounting all in the same two weeks, so she joins the team at a dynamic time in her life!

Ellie Zhao started as an Accounting Intern with HiAccounting in 2013, and has been on the rise ever since. “She is an amazing asset to the company,” says Delaney. In 2014 Zhao was hired full-time as Accounts Payable Clerk. A few months later, she was promoted to Senior Accounts Payable Clerk. In 2016 she was promoted to Accountant. With the recent promotion, she is now Senior Accountant and has taken on more responsibility.
